Based out of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Lexie Garrett of Alexis Drake, began her custom handbag designs out of her garage with two employees. Alexis Drake was initially developed in 2003 as a jewelry company. Hand-cast + fashion forward, the concept of creating a collection of effortless style paired with the heritage of the west began to take shape. Determined to find a bag she absolutely loved, she applied her full-time Art Teacher career and skills to designing the perfect bag. The first handbag was designed in 2014 and rough + unrefined aside, the prototype sold while she was in line getting coffee.

After several moves, Alexis Drake now has a beautiful retail showroom in downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming. She has expanded her the collection to other leather goods such as bracelets, watch bands, planners, wallets and pet pieces. She also designed scarves, hats, earrings and other fun pieces with her signature logo which adorn the interior of all the bags and brightly colored artful designs showcasing her artistic flare.

While there are many fun colors and designs with Alexis Drake, her signature piece is her tote. Shown here in leathers and suedes in soft and platinum textures, they have been the mainstay to her product line. It is her best selling piece by far and she continues to roll out different leather combinations to keep the style fresh.

Today, not only can customers shop the current inventory + customize the 26 plus styles, but they can see her production team at work making AND be part of the process. Lexie hosts workshops and parties to experience making in other creative ways. Scrap parties + bracelet making parties + more can be experienced while making in our working studio. Virtual appointments, in-person appointments, + personal shopping are always available as the retail landscape continues to change + grow.
